Circularity is a relationship.

Five projects where the useful innovation is not a recycled material but the connection between actors, streams and institutions.

The pattern

Circularity is often presented as an object: a chair made from waste, a brick made from leftovers, a bottle made again.

The harder version is relational. It asks who is close enough, trusted enough and organised enough for one person’s surplus to become somebody else’s input.

Field notes

Yogawiser read

The circular economy begins to look less like better recycling and more like better relationships.
